Network Topology

Network on VPDN bases on CDMA 1X grouping domain virtual dialup private network, in addition to the security of CDMA network and related security technology and means, makes it a safe, rapid, and stable wireless access method. It can provide wireless access private network to enterprises and public institutions and implement various industrial applications on this private network. In virtue of CDMA mobile network, VPDN can provide a mobile and wireless access virtual enterprise private network platform to user and achieve the data interaction between each individual user of the enterprise and the enterprise internal data system at any time and any where. Only authorized sub-user can conduct data search, data transmission, and other operations with business private network system. Typical realization scheme on VPDN is shown as below.

SIP mode is based to access user private network. When user dials in PDSN, PDSN will send access-request (NAI format: username@domain_name) to AAA server at the side of CDMA during user authentication. AAA server checks domain name. If validates that it is the domain name of user private network, the access-request message will be forwarded to AAA server of user private network, which will verify user; at the same time, L2TP Tunnel parameters in access-request message (mainly LNS address, Tunnel type, etc.) will be returned. After received L2TP parameters, PDSN will establish L2TP Tunnel with L2TP LNS of user private network while user private network will allocate IP address to user private network.

In this access mode, PDSN plays the role of L2TP LAC. User address will not be assigned by PDSN but by user private network equipment. User action shall be uniformly controlled and managed by user private network. After accessing CDMA network through mobile terminal, user shall pass through AAA authentication at CDMA network side and user network side sooner or later, and then access the intranet of enterprise, which is as safe and convenient as on enterprise intranet and achieves the individual remote office of enterprise. Further, this networking mode is not only as safe and quick as on enterprise intranet, but also has both the easiness and mobility of mobile network.

Grouping Domain VPDN Application

Using CDMA 2000 1X grouping domain VPDN, aside from wireless network access and mobile office, can also realize various industrial applications such as diverse data collection, decentralized data collection, remote data point monitoring, distributed operating point remote data transmission, etc. VPDN-based remote data collection is equivalent to the data collection system of virtual enterprise network or the basic data collection of virtual enterprise network data bank. Enterprise should conduct it own application development and statistics on the basis of such data bank. Decentralized data collection emphasizes the collection and transmission of data in small quality at decentralized application points, completes user authentication and submits cutover information to background application processing system, and reduces manual operation in a simple and convenient manner.

Electronic Authentication at Decentralized Point: This refers to the authentication services in respond to mobile application (such as mobile bank, etc.), centralized entrance guard control system at key place or location, and the centralized authentication at other decentralized points, etc.

Industrial Control and Other Decentralized Data Collection: cross regional large enterprise industrial data collection and control system, such as collection of petrochemical group natural gas, oil pipeline valve, tank, and other parameters, automatic parameter collection of urban heating natural gas boiler, and decentralized data collection and control application such as environmental protection, weather, etc.

Small-amount Payment: The payment system for procurement of small-amount articles, will be authenticated and billed through CDMA 2000 1X network, such as automatic selling system at roadside, hotel, and tourist points, roadside parking charge information connection system, unattended small-amount payment, etc.

Other Decentralized Point-based Data Collection Systems: Data collection involving business and chain application, such as the marketing of chained stores, collection and dispatch of supply information, data collection related to the service of logistics companies, ticket payment at metro and public bus station, etc.
