I. Long-distance Call Service
Service Introduction
China Unicom 193 long-distance network is the second national long-distance network. Unicom long-distance network uniformly adopted Lucent 5ESS-2000 programmed exchange. Long-distance transmission network uniformly adopted Lucent and Alcat SDH and DWDM optical transmission equipment.
Unicom has established business relationship with many internationally well-known telecommunication operating enterprises such as AT&T, SPRINT, KDDI, Global Telecom, Hong Kong Telecom, etc. through three international outlet offices established in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, thus making Unicom international services more convenient and faster. Unicom long-distance network adopts the networking technology of one exchange covering multiple local networks. Unicom established the first nationwide stepless dynamic network in China, thus greatly improving network security and reliability, and achieving high connectivity and clear voice.
Unicom long-distance network has been opened in 342 domestic cities and more than 200 countries and regions internationally including USA, Britain, Germany, France, Hong Kong, etc.

2. Local service charge will not be billed separately for dialing domestic and international long-distance calls.
II. IP Phone Service
Service Introduction
China Unicom IP telephone service network adopts H.323 standard as the protocol standard. The user within group customer can dial shortened number through user small exchange and directly use China Unicom IP telephone service to dial domestic and international long-distance call. International service will be accessed through IP telephone gateway system of IP phone PSTN one-time dialing service network and achieve international interconnection through PSTN one-time dialing service network. Domestic service is accessed through IP telephone enterprise big customer service network IP telephone gateway system and achieves domestic landing through IP telephone PSTN one-time dialing service network and IP phone enterprise big customer service network.
Network Structure
The network adopts two-level multiple-domain structure. The entire network is composed of five domains (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan). The above nodes have been configured with one set of regional gateway for managing provincial gateway calls by region; each regional gateway is composed of two sets of Cisco 7206 VXRs, using HSRP protocol for mutual backup; at the same time, one set of Cisco 7206 VXR is installed in Beijing and Guangzhou respectively as top-level gateway (directory gateway), responsible for cross-regional calling and achieving international interconnection. Two gateways are backed up mutually. Gateway devices are installed in 321 cities nationwide and connected with China Telecom PSTN junction center in each city through gateway device, providing user access function. Prepositioned exchange is large digital programmed exchange, with the function of local call, long-distance call or the combination. Client/server LAN networking mode is adopted. Data management includes No.7, V5 data management, No.7 digital management includes joint circuit MTP data, joint-circuit SCCP data, and joint-circuit SSN data, and other functions.
Prepositioned exchange is the main equipment of dedicated line access and the portal accessing IP network. The main functions are signaling transfer, dedicated line billing, and other functions. At present, our exchange can meet the access of multiple modes and the signaling modes of No.7, No.1, PRI, etc.
