Service Introduction

 “Interactive WAP” is a kind of mobile phone wireless internet browsing service provided by China Unicom to CDMA users. It takes advantage of CDMA network’s exclusive 153.6kbps high-speed data transfer advantages to combine Mobile Communication with Internet to realize many convenient and practical functions of information browsing, audio download, inquiry of order and so on. Unnecessary for setting, you can visit internet information freely and experience the greatest interest and convenience brought by high science and technology.

 

 Service Functions

 “Interactive WAP” internet service is characterized with high speed, safety, convenience, rich contents, combination of characters and pictures and unique individuality. You are only required to use mobile phone terminal which can support WAP protocol, through “one key access to internet” (refer to instruction of mobile phone for specific position), to visit internet information, enjoy fast, colorful and timely mobile phone “wireless internet” service every where.

 

Application of “Interactive WAP” will produce two kinds of expenses, communication fee and information fee.
1. Communication fee is charged by China Unicom from users. CDMA 1X users are charged based on flow. Charge standard is 0.02 Yuan /KB.
2. Information fee is charged by China Unicom for SP/CP from users based on fixed standard. It is charged at the same time with mobile phone call charge.

 

 Customer Application/ Open Method

It is unnecessary for application /open. You can directly use “Interactive WAP” service provided that you apply CDMA 1X mobile phone with WAP function (support “Interactive WAP” service) and open 1X data service. So far, all UIM cards have opened 1X data service in advance, and you can directly use “Interactive WAP” service.

 

 Service Usage Method

1.         Unnecessary for setting, provided that you use the CDMA 1X mobile phone with WAP function (support “Interactive WAP” service), you are only required to press “Xuan Key” or enter China Unicom “U-Max” through mobile phone menu and choose to login “Interactive WAP”, and you can enter whole nation WAP portal.

2.         Users can enter the local WAP portal through links in the whole nation WAP portal.
