Service Introduction
“Stream Media” is the service of China Unicom based on video frequency current media, mobile office and a serious of Quasi broadband wireless data developed by CDMA. “Stream Media” service based on intelligent terminal is composed of rich content application and high performance intelligent terminal of China Unicom CDMA 1X high speed network and U-Web service platform. Its terminal function is equivalent to the combination of CDMA 1X mobile phone, PDA and CDMA 1X internet card.
Service Functions
Main services of “Stream Media” include such 13 subjects of contents as “Today”, “Living Broadcast”, “Hot News”, “Mobile Movie”, “Mobile Amusement”, “Mobile Internet”, “Download Center”, “M Uni-Video”, “Mobile Business”, “Mobile Office”, “Mobile Community”, “U-Map” and “Customer Service”, where: 1. Mobile Internet: connect notebook computer through Port, USB, Infrared or Blue Tooth, which can realize “U-Net” and enter high speed internet world. 2. Mobile Movie: you can directly watch the latest and most classical movies, TV plays, news and MTV programs. 3. Mobile Uni-Video: upon integration of Stream Media mobile intelligent terminal with the current Uno-Video service system, you can enjoy delight of video conferencing at any time, any place, which is the common elaborate data application of Unicom Uni-Video service and CDMA 1X application service. 4. Mobile Office: include synchronous mailbox – Exchange and Domino synchronization; office table – compatiblize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Messenger, etc.; Mobile OA – address book management, program management, outgoing message management and request and report; Mobile ERP – connect in-enterprise resource management and operating decision system through VPDA; Mobile database – support professional mobile database application of Oracle 9i Lite, DB2 Lite and SQL Server CE and cut through high-end mobile business filed. 5. Mobile Amusement: include Just for Laughs, The Humorous World, Handy Games, Cyclopedic Affairs, Collection of Works, Famous Classical Music, Ancient and Modern Sculpture, and Chinese Oil Painting and so on.
Charge
Charge of “Stream Media” service is divided into three parts: communication fee, basic monthly fee (also called service basic royalty) and information customization fee (also called additional information fee). 1. Communication fee refers to the expense of flow produced arising from users’ usage of Stream Media. Charge standard is formulated by referring to the current “U-Net” service charge standard of the branch based on service characteristics and market situation. 2. Basic monthly fee (or service basic royalty) is charged by the branch from users by month. Charge standard is 25 Yuan/ registered user /month. Registered users can make use of basic contents and application services provided by Unicom NewSpace through “Stream Media” service platform. 3. Information customization fee (or additional information fee) refers to the information fee of the content which is provided by a third party CP/SP and shall be customized independently by users out of the basic application contents provided by Unicom NewSpace. Charge standard of the additional information fee which is provided by a third party CP/SP shall be fixed by CP/SP in light of the unified charge suggestion of the Headquarters.

Service Usage Method
You can choose mobile phone ordering or cyber ordering. 1.For new users, the mobile phone will automatically prompt you to order and you will be the ordering user of the system if you press “customize”. There is a page for welcome when mobile phone prompt ordering is successful. Meanwhile, for old users in commercial trial period, the mobile phone will prompt you to renew and you will be the ordering user of the system if you press “enter Stream Media”; press “ordering return” to enter ordering return flow. 2. Cyber ordering flow: enter the home page of Stream Media website http://www.u-web.cn and enter “my order center” for ordering.
