Announcement about Cease sale of ‘Charge-Free Ruyi Tong Products’
Dear users,
In according to a requirement of Ministry of Information Industry (MII) about clearing charge packages, and to simplify pre-pay product structure under our GSM network to offer convenient choices and consumption to subscribers, it is determined that, from 0:00 1st January 2008, ‘charge-free Ruyi Tong products’ will be ceased to sell.
SIM cards of charge-free Ruyi Tong that sold out before 24:00 31st December 2007 must be activated before 24:00 30th June 2008, which is also thus notified on back of SIM card.
From 0:00 1st July 2008, China Unicom will completely stop to sell‘charge-free Ruyi Tong products’. Subcribers of ‘charge-free Ruyi Tong’ who are already within our network (including those activate their ‘charge-free Ruyi Tong’number before 24:00 30th June 2008), may continue to benefit the package and policy of ‘charge-free Ruyi Tong’if they do not transfer to other pre-pay products.
