People’s Daily Unicom Version Gets On-Line
After succefully issuing its color-STM version, People’s Daily, the comprehensive newspaper of the largest circulation volume in China, launched its Unicom version to CDMA phone users. The Get-on-Line ceremoney was held today at the People’s Congress Hall in Beijing.
Mr. Jiang Shaogao, a representative of People’s Daily, put forward that cell phone media formally came into people’s sight during the 17th National Congress of CCPC and became one of the important channels of mainstream media to dliver news. Pelple’s Daily has defined its strategy for its cell phone version, that is to build a ‘national team of cell phone media’. The People’s Daily-Unicom newspaper that jointly presented by People’s Daily and China Unicom is an important action under such strategy.
